Uncle Murda was the latest guest to visit HOT 97’s Ebro In the Morning show this week. The Brooklyn-native and East New York favorite sat down to speak on his controversial “Hands Up” video with Maino, that’s been the topic on many news outlets, particularly one scene where the two rappers have guns drawn and aimed at the head of an actor that plays a police officer.
Uncle Murda touches on minorities not feeling safe around the NYPD, police brutality, the recent murders of two NYPD officers, and the current climate in society following the tragic deaths of Eric Garner and Michael Brown. In between time, the group also get to touch on Murda’s “2014 Rap Up,” which he admits, jacking the theme from Virginia-rapper Skillz.
