It feels like 2003 all over again, and not just because G-Unit are back together again. 50 Cent is currently embroiled in a beef (interpret that as you will) with clothing brand founder and former G-Unit affiliate Slowbucks, and it’s without a doubt his most entertaining showdown since, well, 2003.

We’re all familiar with the story up until this point: Slowbucks takes a photo with 50 Cent’s estranged son Marquise, 50 “allegedly” orders one of his goons to snatch Slowbucks’ chain on stage at last week’s Summer Jam, Slowbucks launches a civil investigation into 50 for assault, theft and brand tarnishment.
That last part has social media up in roars — and Curtis, too. The Queens rapper took a hilarious jab at his new foe at G-Unit’s show at Webster Hall, NYC last night by joking, “there’s mad cops here courtesy of Slowbucks.” As you can imagine, Slowbucks didn’t take too kindly to being called a snitch.
“This n%a 50 aka 5-0 got some nerve??,” he wrote on Instagram with a photo of 50 Cent wearing a police badge around his neck. However, Slowbucks’ response soon left him with a gaping bullet hole in his foot as many users pointed out that Fiddy was wearing the badge as part of a movie role (I mean, come on son).
Never one to pass on kicking a man while he’s down, 50 responded barely an hour later with the Instagram video below. And it’s safe to say that he’s taken the first round in this fight. Rappers never learn, do they?
